Yes... she moved quickly and all is ready to go... thanks for the prompt action!
Jacqui - I see that Bonnie Yingling has sent you signup information to be a preview participant. Let me know if you need anything further. Have a great day!
Sounds good... open to whatever access you can/will allow that will enable me to advocate for a therapy-specific software interface! Appreciate it!
I will check on the status of our Preview Participant Program and will get back to you. I am certain that we can do something to give you access. The initial agency is working with us to co-develop forms and content focused on population\disease management so they don't have forms yet in active use. We can show you all of the disciplines that have been developed for homecare at any time, just not the exact form set that will be in use at the first homecare\hospice organization.
Keith, that's excellent news: I originally signed up to beta test Virtuoso after meeting you and Bonnie, but life's other responsibilities kept me from devoting much time within the program. Is there a way I can observe or review the layout and flow that your initiate agency is utilizing? How exciting...
Jacqui - Virtuoso addresses your concern by beginning with the evaluation of the patient's functional deficits, resulting in patient-specific, measurable, functional goals. The therapists then document directly against the goals from the evaluation from that point forward. All in one area, one form, etc., all against the original deficits. To answer your other question, we have our first homecare\hospice agency beginning the very early stages of implementation now.
Hello everyone! As a PT with 34+ years experience, I am currently Rehab Director for Alacare Home Health & Hospice, homebased in Birmingham AL with 23 branches statewide. Our ~ 140 therapists report directly to respective branch directors: I have two regional managers (one OT, one PT) who supports our efforts of education, audits, branch visits for one-on-one quarterly rehab meetings, and keeping all apprised of CMS changes. You know the drill! My burning issue is identifying better, more efficient ways of assisting field staff to create and chart against patient-specific, measurable and FUNCTIONAL goals within the EMR platform we use... HCHB/PointCare. I've worked with three software programs, so I know this is a concern for virtually all. Would appreciate ideas, contacts, and brain-storming so we can all benefit! Keith, I know Virtuoso has been rolled out to contractors and non-HH environments: can you speak to any interface you may have had thus far with home health? Thanks so much!! Jacqui
